Biography:

Prabhusukh Singh PhD has been studying eastern philosophy for the past 15 years including Buddhism, Taoism, acupuncture, chi kung and martial arts. He has earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, a master’s degree, and a dual PhD in neuroscience and physiology. Within the first weekend of the KRI Kundalini Yoga teacher training with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Prabhusukh Singh PhD knew he would be a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Kundalini Yoga is a comprehensive path of transformation that allows Prabhusukh Singh PhD to integrate all his previous knowledge, from western science and eastern philosophy, to deliver a powerful transformative experience that can rapidly transform a student.

Prabhusukh Singh PhD teaches Kundalini Yoga for Rapid Transformation:
Classes focus on encouraging yoga students to cultivate their own personal power. Student's will energize the physical body using pranayam, kriyas, mantra, meditation and the gong to clear blocks holding them back and dive deeper into the subtle nature of the human being. Using these tools, students will self-elevate in order to experience their own inherent power for rapid transformation towards the life they want, whether it is in relationships, finances, or physical fitness.

Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. It is different from other styles of yoga. Kundalini Yoga uses mantras, movement, meditations and mudras in order to increase the flow of energy or prana within each individual. Often times the poses or asanas can be either repetitive or held for extended periods of time.

The word "yoga" comes from the word "yoke," "to join together," or "to unite." Yoga is the union of the individual's unit consciousness with the infinite consciousness.

The sushumna nadi (or central channel) represents sattva-guna (purity), the present, and the unconcious. It has only the positive aspects of faith in spirituality, nuturing, and revelation. An awakening kundalini first ascends sushumna to ajna chakra, and then descends through ida and pingala in a melting form. Passing through the gate of ajna chakra, one reaches sahasrara, which is the kingdom of God.
